A sermon series for Autumn 2021
The character of Barnabas in the book of Acts is foundational for us at STBK, not just because it’s the name of our church, but also because he helps us understand our spiritual DNA: he was known as a “son of encouragement” (Acts 4.36), full of the Holy Spirit and of faith (Acts 11.24). This is our longing too! Barnabas also inspires our STBK vision to welcome all, to grow together and to step out into God’s mission. This sermon series will be an opportunity to re-envision our church as we relaunch and rebuild after the lockdown period, and as we look to the new missional opportunities God will open up for us. We want to do it the Barnabas way.
