God in heaven, I am so glad that I know you and can call you Father. 

I come to you today as one of your children

who has been redeemed through your son Jesus my saviour. 

Thank you for the people who prayed for me and showed me the love you have for me.

Today I want to pray specifically for my friend called…..

That they come to know you and can call you Father too. 

You have given us your Holy Spirit to be with us all the time

and I ask that my friend…. is prompted by the Spirit to call on you

and, like me, to become one of your children.

 Help me to remember to pray for them regularly and,

if it is right, invite them to join me on the next Alpha Course.
