We believe that the diversity of our church is a springboard for creative mission

This begins as we encourage each person to be an ambassador of God’s kingdom wherever they are. And it continues as we build bridges with those around.

LOCAL OUTREACH

We are building bridges with our local community through CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES (Soft Play and regular Family Fun Days), MUSIC AND THE ARTS (Gig nights in the local pub with our STBK band, lunchtime concerts in the church), and CULTURAL EVENTS (mainly involving food and French Connect!).

In 2017 we planted FRENCH CONNECT to reach out to French speakers in London.
In 2019 we started the BARNABAS MUSIC ACADEMY to offer music lessons to the community.
In 2022 we launched CREATE, a new Sunday evening service, building bridges through the creative arts.

MISSION PARTNERSHIPS

We work in partnership with

St Barnabas and St Philip’s School (our Church of England primary school)
Kingdom Compassion (counselling and support),
GlassDoor (weekly Night Shelter),
Lee Abbey (international students)
Marmalade Duck Nursery (who use our building during the week)

MISSION RESOURCING

We are excited by opportunities God is opening up for us to resource church planting and revitalisation in France and across Europe. We recently translated the Bible in One Year app into French, and have sponsored projects offering worship resources in French. We have growing partnerships with French churches (protestant and catholic), with the Gregory Centre for church multiplication (CCX) and the Diocese of Europe.
