Prayer
Prayer is central to all that we are and do at St Barnabas – we believe that it’s a key part of our relationship with God and is a powerful force for transformation in ourselves, our community and the world. Sunday Prayer We meet every Sunday at 9.50am in the Prayer Room and 6pm in the Howard Hall to pray for the Sunday services. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Transforming Prayer Transforming Prayer is about bringing people together to pray for the power of God to be released through us. Based on our series of talks, ‘Transforming Life’, we aim to encounter the presence of God in worship and intercession and be part of the exciting plan and purpose God has placed before us. Many cluster groups have built this into their programmes. We meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 7.45pm in the Howard Hall. Our termly programme card has all the dates and everyone is welcome.
Freedom Prayer
Our desire is for everyone at St Barnabas to experience the personal and spiritual freedom that has been won for us through Christ. Extended times of one-to-one prayer are available to all church members by appointment. Click here for more information.
There are other opportunities for prayer including occasional retreats and prayer weekend’s and prayer for specific mission partners. Some of our members belong to national prayer networks praying specifically for our nation, Israel and world revival. |
