Clusters
Clusters are our mid-week groups. We encourage everyone to join one because it’s the place to make relationships, be discipled and reach out to unbelievers. We don’t limit the size of the groups but instead encourage them to grow as new people are encouraged to join. No group is ever closed to newcomers. Bigger groups enable greater ablilty for groups to do outreach and use each others gifts. We recognise that there is also a need for intimacy and accountability. We sub-divide the groups when they get too big for this into smaller groups that meet in between or during the cluster nights.
Groups have their own names, programmes and identities and attract different people to joining them. Every group is encouraged to have its own vision – a passion and purpose that aims to build us and others into strong followers of Jesus Christ.
Clusters are Christian communities which support and serve those in it, but love the opportunity to get involved and welcome newcomers.
Most clusters meet on a weekly basis on different week nights. We all meet together on the first Wednesday of the month at St Barnabas for the central prayer meeting with other clusters and members of the church.
